2015: 'Year of the Scammer'

This must've been the year of the scammer because in the last few days, this blogger uncovered at least three of them, which lead me to believe the old sayings:

  • One can't get something for nothing

  • There was no such thing as a 'free lunch'

  • If it sounds too good to be true, it probably was

  • In all fairness, the person that referred me to News-Person.com reached the limit and never was paid because they refused. After Googling the company, the following was found on Craigslist: BEWARE!!! NEWS-PERSON.COM IS A FRAUDULENT SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This writer not only told the company that they were being reported to the FTC, they were soon written up on that site. It was probably a lot like the others below.

In a pyramid scheme, new recruits' money was used to pay off up to date investors. The only problem was that as more people were lured into this program the harder it was for payouts to occur because of its large growth. Evidently the bottom fell out and everyone looses their money.

In the last few weeks, this blogger fund two of them, which was unusual. TheYouthJob.com had everything spelled out on the site, even that the survey taken before the funds were released was mandatory. Minimal payout was $300 but one was known to make up to $5000. Money was earned faster the more it was circulated on social media. It took longer to reach the payout limit at $5 a click.

TheWeeklyRewards.com hid the survey until the payout limit was reached. Then, the process started all over again. Like the first link, the file to download wasn't done until the sign up task was completed It looked like they just reopened under a new name and upped the payout to $10 a click.

This writer also took things a lot further than telling the company that they were committing fraud. They were also reported to FTC.gov, both of them. Like the first link, they were supposed to contact me in five or six days, but in that time all that happened was reopening the site under a new name with the same type of survey.

People were wicked. This was just about as bad as the government grant scam that promised the person on the end of the phone a large amount of government funds. Once they had bank information or a credit card, the scam begins. Federal grants were awarded for a public purpose and are typically awarded to local governments, educational institutions and organizations. The federal government does not offer grants for personal financial assistance. In addition,  didn't contact anyone by mail, phone or email to offer a grant award. Representatives of this site would never request any banking/credit card information or any processing fees.

The IRS scam has been just as bad as the person impersonating an officer of the court, a Lt.Truitt, telling them that they were to be arrested if they didn't stop the warrant issued for their arrest by sending the fake person $560 via a green dot card from Walmart. One was to read the number off the back of the card.

In the IRS' case, the scammers, were known to possess the last four digits of the victim's SSN, and the IRS' toll-free number  appeared on caller ID. Sometimes, the target  received an email, supposedly to be from the IRS, to further the scheme. The caller told the individual that the tax bill must be paid promptly through a pre-loaded debit card or wire transfer, threatening arrest or deportation as a penalty.

The IRS stressed that if someone owed money, the first contact from the IRS is likely to come via mail, like the notice of failure to show for jury duty.

Like the computer technicians that used Microsoft as a satellite company to get clients that had trouble with their computers, These independent companies were not to call people trolling for work Microsoft answered most questions in the forum. If the only thing these scam reports produce was 10 Ways to Avoid Fraud, it was better than nothing at all. My name, address and phone number was out there. Because of the survey taken from the pyramid scheme, my phone rang off the hook in the last few days.

The hardest thing was telling  a reputable coffee company that my membership was acquired via the first pyramid scheme. They were very understanding when they cancelled my membership, offering me a choice to accept or reject their offers in the future.

Here was the worst thing that bothered me. The loss of my social media accounts or traffic exchanges was a concern, just like a writer who committed plagiarism or copyright infringement, that hurt too, not being able to write or circulate one's articles. Thank goodness a lot of the people that were alerted by me were understanding enough not to throw me to the curb after telling them of this disgrace.

Debate still divided candidates over major issues

Tuesday night's Debate was to be the last of the year. The Today Show said that despite Donald Trump's stance on banning Muslims from the United States, he was still leading nationwide. Ted Cruz was a very close second. Let's hope Donald Trump was able to put a real plan to make America 'great' again on the table. No doubt immigration and national security were sticking points this time.

In the last few months, the surviving seven had their plans to revive America's economy, and the like while the front runner has done nothing to unveil his plan for America, except ruffle the feathers of a few ethnic groups and the nation's military.

Instead of taking pot shots at Ben Carson, the audience was watching to see whether Ted Cruz would be the next victim. What side of Trump was the world to see this time? While it was great to have a catchy slogan, a plan that looks even better than on paper was a winner, not these flat one line statements with no meat on them, Playing to the media was not going to work, no matter how high the entertainment value.

Last night, the debate was kind of strange. They had trouble keeping up with the facts, There was a lot of talk from the front runner about tough talk about shutting down the internet and finding tough people to deal with Isis, but no real plan. He did have a solid plan in place for trade. Depending on what he said, the response bought chuckles, cheers or jeers.

The real fight was in the spot behind the leader. At least the showdown between Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz took place. While others thought this was Jeb Bush's swan song, some were still saying that he had a chance in New Hampshire He did have a valid point when criticizing Trump's lack of direction concerning national security.

One of the videos said that of all the presidential candidates, Ted Cruz was the one ahead because he had a platform in place for security and immigration.

    Republicans tired of Donald Trump

Donald Trump's speech during the President's address last Sunday night bought a lot of media backlash, worse that the critics that voiced their opinion on CNN Tuesday night:

  • The Huffington Post was no longer covering him in Entertainment because his antics were causing the opposite effect.

  • The U.K was circulating a petition to ban him from visiting

  • American Muslims were calling his speech 'Facist' hate speech

  • Fox Commentators suspend Donald Trump over his tweets during Obama's Speech

  • Republicans denounce Trump's Speech

  • The backlash isn't uncommon because he had offended other ethnic groups. Remember these?

  • Hispanics Univision wanted the $500 Million Lawsuit dismissed

  • Latinos still didn't care for his attitude about Hispanics being drug dealers and thugs

  • The Military Montel Williams angry video rebuke of Donald Trump still rang in my ears

  • Paul Ryan said that Donald Trump disqualified himself as president because of his stance on Muslims.

  • Michael Nutter, Philadelphia's mayor, wanted to ban Donald Trump from the city.

  • The Republican party as well as the commentators on CNN live said his rough handling of Muslim's trying to get into the country wasn't what was needed at the moment. Some were going as far as saying that his hard extremist attitude might cost them the White House. Most of the Republican Party was the major obstacle for passing stricter gun control laws. In fact, the opposite had occurred.

His statement on CNN Live was correct though. Those people on the no fly list should be banned from purchasing guns. The National Rifle Association was a powerful lobbyist in Washington, which made it difficult to pass these laws because backers thought it would hamper their rights under the Second Amendment. There was nothing wrong with trying to keep firearms out of the hands of radical Islamists or mental patients that were set off by current events. The wait time should be extended to at least 90.

Something had to be done because just 'debating' about the nation's security wasn't working. Criticizing the president didn't work either. With the California shooting last week and the Planned Parenthood shooting prior as well as the college shooting in Oregon, it was time to act rationally. There was none of that with Donald Trump. Both the media and those on the CNN panel were tired of Donald Trump and his stupidity.

    Actively seeking Newsletter Sign Ups

To get sign ups for the My Writing Site Newsletter my focus was immediate family members. The running joke was that they were a 'captive audience', so to speak. The reality was that the blog site and the fan pages were both shown to all. When asked to join my site, they were placed on the weekly post, as all of them worked.

In all fairness, not everything was read in a newsletter. Most of the time the stories read by me were those with the catchy headline. The shorter the pieces were the better they were liked. Not everyone liked reading about celebrity gossip, at least which Hollywood couple spit, who got married or who spent time in jail because of a domestic dispute. Marriages, divorces, arrests, and lawsuits were a matter of public record, so that can't be kept secret. One of the Mary-Kate Olsen married someone 17 years older than herself.

One thing this blogger gave credit to were Lionel Ritchie and Bruce Willis. When they went through a divorce, both disappeared for two years to divide their property from their exes. Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman announced their split too, but he is still doing commercials. Chris Rock and his ex were still in a custody battle.

My goal was increasing readership. That meant some of the petty backbiting and infighting seen in some well known families had to be overlooked, to some extent. That kind of thing did bring in viewers, but it was a private situation that should be kept off social media. Any kind of public dispute or nude photo became the next trending or hashtag topic on Facebook. While the Mummy reboot might not bring too much of an audience in the theater, there might be die hard fans, depending on the plot and setting. At least the audience won't see Tom Cruise in the cast. Star Wars: The Force Awakens just announced that a female droid was to be placed in the movie to honor a girl who was a fan that died. This was a touching tribute to one's daughter.

    Here was what was offered:

  • Free sign up of my newsletter either through my blog or on the Fan page. One could even inbox me with their names and email addresses and it will be put on the weekly update.

  • For those with things to sell, free placement of their ad in The Busy Bee Classifieds. Because of my advertisement on more than one site, pornographic content was forbidden.  The other accounts owned by me could be suspended if they saw this.

  • Here was another offer to check out. BlogNinja was an interactive, fun, and easy to follow video course. After taking this course, it gave me some good ideas of my own. It might do the same for others. The fun part was, the student can earn some money during the course!

Here's hoping my future subscribers liked what they saw and enjoyed the newsletter.

Hackers able to attack Dell laptops and VTech data

The possibility of some hackers getting into my laptop was always a scary thought. That was why a Dell was never purchased by me. My aunt, now deceased, told me she had problems with her desktop. No one was allowed to use it because of her having to reformat the hard drive every time. They might be a favorite item this Christmas, but they may come with malicious software in tow. This blogger felt empathy for the children and parents of Vtech also.

In Dell's case, it came as an already installed certificate that poses as Google, making it easier for hackers to gain entry. That wasn't all. Bank of America and other HTTPS sites were vulnerable also, at least their encrypted information was. What bothered me was the length of time Dell knew about this software certificate security problem or how many laptop models were affected by the faulty security program? Here was their statement to Reuters:

The recent situation raised is related to an on-the-box support certificate intended to provide a better, faster and easier customer support experience,” Dell said. “Unfortunately, the certificate introduced an unintended security vulnerability.”

How long they knew or how many laptops had this problem didn't seem to matter because the company has taken steps to correct the situation. Anyone finding this situation on their laptop was offered on site and email instructions on the removal of this malicious security software. This was frighteningly almost the same as their “Superfish” program found on their Lenovo computers at the beginning of this year.

Vtech had its own hacker's situation too, but on its apps store database SQL servers. Over 4 million children were affected by this trouble because not only were their names, gender and ages revealed, the names, addresses phone numbers and email addresses of their parents were also.

The creepiest thing was other sensitive information like credit card data secret questions, and passwords were also stolen by this hacker mainly, because users of the app leaned heavily on making payments via a third party. The only bright spot was that this hacker identified himself and how this very large data breach took place.

The hacker who claimed responsibility for the breach provided files containing the sensitive data to Motherboard last week. Apparently, they gained access to the company’s database using a technique known as SQL injection. Also known as SQLi, this is an ancient, yet extremely effective, method of attack where hackers insert malicious commands into a website’s forms, tricking it into returning other data. The hacker was then able to break into VTech’s web and database servers, where they had “root access”—in other words, access with full authorization or control. The hacker said that while they don’t intend to publish the data publicly, it’s possible others exfiltrated it first.

This was the hacker's statement via encrypted chat:

It was pretty easy to dump, so someone with darker motives could easily get it.”

One annonymous user stated, “I was surprised and shocked to see my data breached on a ‘child friendly’ website.”

VTech then confirmed the breach in an email on Thursday, days after Motherboard reached out to the company for comment. Their statement was:

We were not aware of this unauthorized access until you alerted us.”

Disgusted said it best in their well thought out email to the company in the comments. Of course, the efforts of VTech were professional and poised to say the least, in their reply. This blogger was glad they hadn't purchased anything in this article.

Cops: Use of excessive force had them 'out of order'

With all the bad press about the need for gun control and cops getting into trouble for fatally shooting men of color, it's refreshing to find a female that knew when to use her gun. Apparently, this was a Craigslist deal that went sour after the couple who bought a car from someone claiming to have one for sale online, went to complete the transaction at an Aiken, South Carolina gas station. One of them pulled a gun on the woman's boyfriend and she pulled hers from her handbag and fired it, killing him. The second man ran. Neither the woman or her boyfriend had any injuries, but police were searching for that second man.

This reminds me of a post written about robbers getting shot when they tried to rob a well-known anchorwoman and her husband, who was a trained military man who also was well trained on how to use a gun. The above synopsis didn't say whether any charges were to be filed. There probably won't be because of the robbery attempt from the sellers of the car that wasn't.

The above incident was the U.S. Constitution at work The Second Amendment allows for 'the right to bear arms' and the Preamble allows for the nation to 'provide for the common defense'. Why then, does law enforcement slip up when it came to using their guns? Like the woman in the lead story and the one highlighted in July, they were trained to use a gun to protect others. In spite of the mandatory use of body cams and modern devices like cell phones, things were not getting any better. A lot of bad press was placed on social media, which made a situation worse for the cop responsible for the fatal shootings recently. Several of those cops were fired or left the force due to social media pressure.

For the cop that shot an unarmed youth in Chicago 16 times, were those other 15 shots justified? Were the nation's cops in order?

Something wasn't right. According to one article, the protest in Chicago was an effort to mandate changes in the use of force in an effort to end police brutality. With all the sensitivity training and camera footage didn't seem to stop the violence against the black youth in that area. It was a wonder that the police weren't trusted. Some were blaming the media for this rise in ethic violations. Unlike the riot in Ferguson last year, protesters were peaceful, but angry about the incidents this year. Their only crime was blocking #BlackFriday shoppers in the downtown Chicago area and in a northern mall. In Ferguson, #BlackFriday was boycotted on the anniversary of the Missouri shooting.

The problem was in what the U.S. The Supreme Court (SCOTUS) allowed local cops. Right now, they were granted free reign. The court had never defined anything other than 'whatever was necessary for protection' A lot of the men and women came out of the academy knowing that there weren't any limits placed on the use of force they used to protect themselves or others. They left the regulations up to their precinct.

These majority white grand juries see beat cops as the thin blue line that protects whites from black thuggery.  The result is very lethal and dangerous beat cops who are emboldened and more trigger happy than combat soldiers. At least, combat soldiers must get approval from their superiors and comply with the rules of engagement before using deadly force.  Not so with beat cops.  The law will not hold them accountable even if excessive force complaints and lawsuits pile up against them.  Instead, the law typically shields them from accountability.

None of the protests would've occurred if the Chicago Police Department had paid attention the other excessive force complaints filed against Jason Van Dyke. The judge in that case ordered the release of the video a year after the cover up occurred. It appeared to me that Laquin McDonald's family was paid 'hush money'.  Either way, it was still wrong. Maybe the Supreme Court should re-evaluate and redefine its meaning of 'whatever force necessary' . Until they do, protests in high crime minority communities will continue to react to excessive force used by the police.

    #BlackFriday deals began early online

It's all about who got there first, online that is. Amazon.com is the first store to roll out their #BlackFriday deals today. A few stores had some pre-holiday sales too, but not like the store just mentioned. The 'old mighty dollar' reigned supreme.

Kohl's already put out its holiday ad yesterday, supposedly leaked. The first of many to come.

#BlackFriday wasn't what it used to be. Not everything was shown above, though, For this blogger, avoiding the mall for the next few days and even Thanksgiving weekend was paramount, being the highest shopping days of the season. The hot ticket items had to be electronics like Best Buy's door busters offered the best place to buy the 4K 60 inch Samsung TV and the Toshiba 49 inch HDTV. Target, not to be outdone, was offering 25% off all Apple TV devices.

The best deals online for the UK had to be Amazon.com also. They started their 'lightening' deals and also lowered the price of Amazon Prime that ended two days ago. Our English friends were to spend almost as much before #Black Friday started as during it. It surprised me that eBay, their competitor, was a close second during this time. Shopping here for me was one of the last things done, because what was needed was rare, like a back piece to Nokia 6010 or a refurbished one. Their sales began on Black Friday and run until Monday, November 30. Every day deals starting at 8 am.

With all that was expected to happen online, this blogger expected a lot of the well-known sites listed above will crash. At least without money, this writer won't be shopping online for any high priced or much-desired gift.

There was one store that didn't open before, during, or after Thanksgiving. During that time, Nordstrom was encouraging its workers to stay at home with their families and to get outdoors. That didn't mean that they couldn't take advantage of sidewalk sales. Here was a list of stores with their hours and what day they open.

    Happy Shopping!

Shoemoney: Easy to follow video program with simple steps

I have been following internet millionaire Jeremy Schoemaker for a couple years now. I am on his newsletter and saw an email that said he was frustrated that he had sold many "how to make money online" products and even though the content was good very few people every logged in and did anything.

So he claimed not only would this be free but he would pay you for accomplish tasks. I signed up.  More because I was curious to see what his angle was than anything else.  The first task was drop dead simple and I instantly received a dollar and it was sent to my paypal instantly. and yet I never paid him anything.

Then I continued and went through the course now setting up my website.  Then installing a theme, then installing plugins, etc etc.  By the end of the 2nd level he send me $3.  The course continued and I was glued.

Jeremy not only walks you through setting up everything step by step (and paying you as you accomplish the tasks), but also makes it fun awarding you belts like a karate system.
    paypalss

But while the money was fun and kept me going,  at the end I had a great blog with all the key plugins.  A decked out facebook page and a email newsletter.

I have spent many hours playing farmville but this was like that only at the end you keep the farm and you have something of real value.

Again I never paid him $1.  I kept waiting to see the trick but there truly is none.

If you seem skeptical give it a try it and when you make your first dollar in five minutes you will be as hooked as me. I just want to say thank you Jeremy.  Click here to register.

#ParisAttacks: The effect on the states, Obama's decision, and the Democratic Debate

The world rallied around France as they moved forward after the #ParisAttacks. One of the eight terrorists was identified and the hunt was on for his capture. The irony of the whole situation was that he came by way of Syria through Belgium. Problems still existed internationally and on the home front.  Both want America to do more to fight terrorism in Syria and take the lead in defending France.

#ParisAttacks: Effect on the States. Since yesterday, there were a lot more states that weren"t allowing refugees into their area. In the beginning there were four, then by afternoon 16, now there were 30. One even signed an executive order to block them. With this major resettlement problem, some governors might not have much choice in the matter.  While Condoleeza Rice, former Secretary of State, understood the fear of further terrorist attacks, she pleaded with the nation's governors of those opposing states to let them in.  Apparently,  this terrorist fear that the governors were concerned about when Syrians entered was justified because of proper security checks

Barack Obama and the #ParisAttacks Right now, even after the #ParisAttacks, Obama still refused to put troops in Syria, but to offer support where needed. What was wrong with maintaining a supportive role?  By doing this America still had a way to protect its own borders and maintain the NATO clause where the allied countries would come to the aid of those that were attacked. The issue with Russia was inert because fighting ISIS was a common goal. Even though the media would like to make Obama look weak, he isn't. It was great of them to take the 'walk down memory lane'  with the video attempts at terrorism, which were foiled earlier this year, but that was then. His critics were missing some major pieces to the puzzle. In his video yesterday, he didn't want to spread American forces too thin. Someone stronger and more powerful on the opposing side could fill the vacuum. Let's not forget this Caliphate existed in all 50 states.

Withdrawing troops from Afghanistan in 2014 bought ISIS into the fight. They were now global, not just regional, It was no longer just the Taliban and Al-Quaeda, but Hezbollah, Hannas and The PLO. Not removing Saddam Hussein from Iraq in the early '90's allowed him to regain power again. The first time, he invaded Kuwait, he broke international law  The second time it was his ties to  terrorism and his refusal to let  in U.N. Weapons inspectors. Remaining vigilant was key.

#ParisAttacks and the Democratic Debate Of course the Democratic Debate this Saturday changed the focus from taxes to terrorism. The next U.S. The president was to carry on in Obama's place. Until the #ParisAttacks, most of the answers on the issue of terrorism were deemed acceptable. Ben Carson was unable to come up with a good enough solution. This was the third time he fumbled when behind a microphone. The media wondered whether his campaign would survive. It might in spite of the problem in the recent debate.

The cry for a change of action came from Republican critics like Mitt Romney, and Pat Robertson. If it were up to them, the national deficit would be driven upward at the expense of the entitlement programs. It seemed to me that the 700 Cub host wanted America to go in with airplanes and troops. This wasn't easy when the people speaking out weren't in the hot seat. Bernie Sanders failed to slow down Hilary Clinton's speed to the top. Even though there was no Republican front runner yet the nominee's plan can't just look or sound good, It had to work too, without taxing the middle class and further bleeding the entitlement programs.

“I think this incident in Paris will break down some of the false sense of separation from the experience the rest of the world is having with terrorism,” said Senator Chris Coons, Democrat of Delaware. He predicted that the campaign would “begin to focus as much on national security and foreign affairs as domestic matters and economic security.”

Or, as Tom Ridge, a former secretary of Homeland Security, put it: “The barbarians are no longer at the gate. They’re inside.”

“Voters are very dubious about our ability to remake the world, but they’re very serious about us defending ourselves,” said Newt Gingrich, the former House speaker. “They have a very low tolerance for being frightened.”

Paris flying its flag in defiance of attack

This was a sad day in Paris, France because ten months after the attack on the paper, which killed 12 in January, this time 127 people were killed in attacks at a theater and at other locations in the city. The death toll still climbed.

Dramatic cell phone video shows survivors fleeing concert venue

France's president called it "An Act of War". According to the Today Show, this morning, ISIS claimed responsibility. Here was what was known so far.

  • Most of the population in Paris came from Northern Africa, belonging to the Sunni

  • Most have not done well economically

  • Most of the chatter was meaningless and insignificant because a lot of the data was encrypted and unable to be traced. Terrorists now had downloadable apps that protected their metadata.

  • What the United States was doing In Syria and Iran was not working

  • The irony was tonights Democratic debate focused on the #ParisAttacks and foreign policy. Let's hope that the victor in the 2016 election was to do more than send an advisory team to Syria and Iran.

Eagles of Death Metal played in Paris club when gunmen attacked [Video]

The good news was, both Muslim and Arabs around the world had condemned the attacks in France. Another video said that opponents in the area were ready to buck ISIS and their leaders because they weren't going to accept the pitch of a caliphate.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani sent a message to French President Francois Hollande Saturday, informing him Iran was offering its thoughts and prayers to the French people. Iran and its allies, Hezbollah and the Assad regime in Syria, have been fighting ISIS. Rouhani also announced he has postponed a planned trip to Italy and France. Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who worked with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to reach the Iran nuclear deal, was quoted by Iranian state-run news agency IRNA saying he condemned “terrorist operations at any forms” and that Iran, as a victim of terrorism, have always rejected terrorist activity.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, the largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States, released a statement Friday night saying: “These savage and despicable attacks on civilians, whether they occur in Paris, Beirut or any other city, are outrageous and without justification. We condemn these horrific crimes in the strongest terms possible. Our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of those killed and injured and with all of France. The perpetrators of these heinous attacks must be apprehended and brought to justice.”

Just last month, he called the U.S. 'The Great Satan' and how it was vanquished by the passing of the nuclear deal recently.  All that has seen this attack in Paris acted like they wanted a major confrontation with the enemy.  Instead of physical violence, the French sang their national anthem in defiance at a train station. Just like the January attack the new hash tag #ParisAttack also showed that people weren't afraid after this tragedy. Some even displayed the colors on their flag in defiance and solidarity, showing they were not scared. Paris was about life.

Several in last night's GOP Debate gained strength

Last night might have left those in Milwaukee unhappy, because there wasn't a thinning out of the top eight in the GOP debate.

The fledgling candidates gave their financial backers a sigh of relief. Jeb Bush's candidacy was on the verge of death before tonight's debate. Some of the people running for the White House  who didn't get much notice in the press,  like Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Ohio Gov. John Kasich -- managed to make their mark at least as much as either of the two front-runners in the polls.

The under card debate was no less promising. Chris Christie made the comment that Hilary Clinton was able as president to make choices for all Americans better than they could for themselves. If the article in the local paper on May 2  was any indication of her intentions, we were all in trouble. Carson said it best. Telling her staff the attack on Bengazi was a terrorist attack and the American people it was an online video was a lie.

While the fight between Ben Carson and Donald Trump didn't occur, Jindal tried unsuccessfully to pick a fight with Christie, saying that the Republican party needed to nominate a true conservative to win next November.

One sticking point last night that had everyone in the main debate fractious was the issue of immigration. Donald Trump wanted to ship all illegal aliens back to their own country. Kasich said not only was he above person out of his element, he thought the argument was nutty. Jeb Bush made more sense, stating that sending 11million immigrants back to their home country would devastate families and whole communities.

This blogger would cheer for both  Kasich and Bush. They refused to be the butt of Trump's insults. It showed proper etiquette to listen to everyone when stating their case for the Oval Office. Perhaps they have learned a few lessons from Ben Carson, who already knew how to handle the press and Donald Trump's jabs and the media's attempt to embarrass him with printed lies. This deserved a 'high five' in the Democratic camp also.

There were other economic issues too. One of the candidates wanted to reform the military and  another wanted to rewrite the unfair tax code, which they remarked, had more words than the Bible and were untrue. How was this to be accomplished without causing more pain to the middle class? They've carried most of the load for the last for the last thirty years when it came to paying taxes. Yet no one wanted to raise the national minimum wage to $15 an hour.
